CPT and ICD-9 Updates, Coding Workshops, Policies and Procedures Workshops, Insurance Update Seminars...
CPT and ICD-9 Updates, coding workshops, have a focus on understanding the newly revised Evaluation and Management codes and billing compliance issues. The objective is to prepare your office for the new HCFA mandates. This will be accomplished by learning correct billing procedures, reviewing the levels and descriptions of E/M codes, learning the terminology, developing checklists for systems examinations and reviewing billing and reimbursement practices that may be considered fraud or abuse.
Policies and Procedures Workshop will present topics that impact on the employees, employer and patients in the physician practice. These topics include compliance concerns, wage and hour regulations, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave and medical record documentation format. Written standard operating procedures are emphasized by agencies defining what is quality patient care and utilized by the managed care organizations as a tool for selecting providers for their beneficiaries. These workshops are held in all the major cities so that it is convenient for you to attend.
Insurance Update Seminars are designed for medical office staff such as physicians and other providers, medical office managers, billing companies, insurance processors and medical receptionists. The focus of the workshop will be on TennCare reimbursement policies, current Medicare guidelines, common errors that result in denied claims along with questions from the participants to the presenters. Help desks will also be a highlight of the workshops for additional material and one-on-one consultations.
